Bring the Awesomeness!
One of my first CD albums I bought in high school back in the 90’s was the very first
COLDPLAY – Parachutes – and it changed my world.
Years later, these guys are still pioneering music and history, and they remain untouched and so humble, which inspires me.
In a recent interview I heard them over the radio in London, and Chris Martin spoke about how they are just playing what they really want to play, and having fun, trying lots of new instruments and drum machines, and loops, on and on… and they didn’t give a crap about what people were saying, and they even appreciated the haters as long as they gave their criticisms in a productive way – because WHY? because these guys KNOW they are still not made yet, they are still ALWAYS getting better, every single day.
The point I’m making is that you HAVE to get better every day! Get up and get better, even if you totally fell flat on your face. Get back on the stage and FIND YOUR SONG – and play your own instrument in life. I love that the artists of Coldplay do this; they are just doing what they love, and their freedom is reflected amazingly through their music; like an epic ride of emotions and strength.
So their newest release in 2011 – another stellar album, my favorite so far: “Paradise”
and check out the remix by Fedde Le Grand ( who I discovered in Spain! another great electro artist adding a nice bass line for a harder version)
My buddy Dan – the man! ( Sushi Master and Guitar God)
just so happened to remix this song as well – right in my backyard.
Beautiful white sand indeed! – You sound like an Angel Dan. Good vibes
